How to Apply for SSC MTS Vacancy 2025 Online-Exam Pattern & Selection Process
Paper I (CBT) – for both MTS & Havaldar
- Two mandatory sessions (45 min each)
- Session I:
- Numerical & Mathematical Ability – 20 Q (60 marks)
- Reasoning & Problem-Solving – 20 Q (60 marks)
- No negative marking
- Session II:
- General Awareness – 25 Q (75 marks)
- English Language & Comprehension – 25 Q (75 marks)
- –1 mark for each wrong answer
- Session I:
- Total marks: 270, Duration: 90 minutes
- Questions available in Hindi, English & regional languages
Paper II – PET/PST (only for Havaldar)
- PET:
- Male: Walk 1,600 m in 15 min; Cycling: 8 km in 30 min
- Female: Walk 1 km in 20 min; Cycling: 3 km in 25 min
- PST:
- Height: Males 157.5 cm (ST/Gorkhas/Assam relaxable); Females 152 cm
